The Challenge:

FANE Speakers first reached out to us in September 2023. With a brand-new website full of potential, our targets were set on growing organic traffic and visibility on Google.

Implementation:

We started by carrying out keyword research, collating a list of target keywords that would be assigned across each website page.

Working to generate high quality traffic that would result in sales leads was our first priority. Targeting broad keywords with a high search volume each month would result in large amounts of traffic that would not convert. We therefore made sure all targeted keywords were relevant to FANE speaker’s service offering.

Patience and consistency are key when kickstarting SEO on a new website. We developed a great relationship built on trust and collaboration with our client, to ensure we remained committed to one strategy for the first 2-3 months. This allowed us to test, assess and alter our strategy in the months that followed, setting us on track to achieve results.

With many speaker products to work with, our goal was to continue working through all product pages to reduce the effects of keyword cannibalisation. Cannibalisation occurs when multiple pages on a site compete against one another for the same target keywords in search results, negatively impacting SEO.

Our client has always been on hand to bolster content on the website. Being a brand-new website, we found that there were many content recommendations we could make to improve SEO.

Results:

Over the last 12 months we saw organic traffic grow from 49 users in February 2024, to 595 users in February 2025. This represents a growth of over 1000%.

The keyword ‘keynote speakers’ reached page 1 of Google, with a monthly search volume of 1,300 users. In January 2024, FANE speakers were ranking organically for 70 keywords on Google. By December 2024, this figure grew to over 1,000.
